Camp/Event Refund Policy

Canada Futures, Beyond The white lines, grow the game - Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Canada Futures, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To ensure fairness for all participants while allowing us to effectively plan and deliver high-quality camps, evaluations, clinics, showcases, tours, and events, the following refund and cancellation policy applies to all registrations.

1.⁠ ⁠Cancellation 30 Days or More Before the Event Start Date

Participants who cancel their registration 30 days prior to the event start date are eligible for:

•⁠ ⁠A 100% refund of registration fees paid, less a $25 administration fee and any non-refundable fees incurred; or

•⁠ ⁠A 100% event credit, less any fees incurred, that may be applied to a future Canada Futures camp, clinic, showcase, tour, or event.

2.⁠ ⁠Cancellation Between 14 and 29 Days Before the Event Start Date

Participants who cancel their registration 14–29 days before the event start date are eligible for:

•⁠ ⁠A 100% event credit, less any fees incurred, that may be applied to a future Canada Futures camp, clinic, showcase, tour, or event or a 50% refund.

3.⁠ ⁠Cancellation Less Than 14 Days Before the Event Start Date

Participants who cancel their registration less than 14 days before the event start date are eligible for:

•⁠ ⁠A 50% refund, less any fees incurred.

No refunds will be issued within this timeframe.

4.⁠ ⁠Medical Emergencies, Injuries, and Family Emergencies

Participants unable to attend due to a documented medical condition, injury, or family emergency may request special consideration.

•⁠ ⁠Supporting documentation may be required.

•⁠ ⁠Canada Futures may provide a full credit, partial credit, refund, or alternative accommodation at its discretion.

•⁠ ⁠Credits issued under this section will be less any non-recoverable fees incurred.

5.⁠ ⁠Event Cancellation by Canada Futures

If Canada Futures cancels an event due to circumstances within its control, participants will receive:

•⁠ ⁠A full refund of registration fees paid; or

•⁠ ⁠The option to transfer registration to a future Canada Futures event.

Canada Futures is not responsible for travel, accommodation, meals, transportation, or other expenses incurred by participants.

6.⁠ ⁠Event Credits

•⁠ ⁠Event credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the registered participant.

•⁠ ⁠Credits must be used within 24 months of the original event date unless otherwise approved by Canada Futures.

•⁠ ⁠Credits have no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.

7.⁠ ⁠Processing Fees and Administrative Costs

Payment processing fees, registration platform fees, administrative costs, and any other non-recoverable expenses incurred by Canada Futures may be deducted from any refund or credit issued.

8.⁠ ⁠Requesting a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted by email (info@canada-futures.com) to Canada Futures.

The effective cancellation date will be the date the written request is received.

9.⁠ ⁠Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as soon as reasonably possible following the cancellation request or completion of the event.

Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment whenever possible.

Acknowledgement

By registering for a Canada Futures camp, clinic, showcase, tour, evaluation, or event, participants and their parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
